What is The Réalta Programme?

For Teachers

The SPHE Curriculum is designed to enable the students to develop skills for self-fulfilment and living in communities, to promote self-esteem and self-confidence.

Each lesson is linked to the next in the in a way that builds the pupils awareness and learning.

For Parents

Empowering children to be the next generation of leaders.

Reálta  - Origins

In 2015 the GPA launched the Jim Madden GPA Leadership Programme. This 12 month long leadership development programme is available to both GPA and WGPA members.

The Programme focuses on three main tenets; Sports; Business & Community. Each participant spends the year examining their own personal leadership strengths and areas for development, through a series of workshops, assessments and coaching.

The GPA-Jim Madden Leadership Programme

In 2015 the GPA launched the Jim Madden GPA Leadership Programme. This 12 month long leadership development pathway was made available to 25 GPA and WGPA members.

In 2016 there were 35 participants. The Programme focuses on three main tenets; Sports; Business & Community
